I had one of those rare moments of epiphany the other day and wrote about it on the Worship Wednesday blog at Simply Cy-Fair. But it was too exciting not to share here, too!
As a side note for when you click over to the other post: I truly believe with all of my heart that God planned all three (actually 5!) miracles before I ever fasted for them...but I think He's using that moment now to remind me of the following verse:
Pray continually.
Thessalonians 5:16
Yup, it's its very own verse. Two words.
And then that verse reminded me of another favorite, which I had to look up because the only thing I could remember was "by prayer and petition, present your requests to God."
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and
petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
(Am I the only one who needed to read that verse today?)
