I know I haven't been around much this summer. It was certainly a summer to remember. Tomorrow the boys head back to school, 1st and 3rd grade. And the girls attend their first dance class. My little munchkins are more than ready for the start of a new school year. New clothes sit on dressers upstairs, awaiting the early morning rush. New backpacks lean against the front door, parked next to new sneakers. New lunchboxes wait in the fridge, filled with sustenance for that first hard day back. Ballet leotards hang in the closet; tights and shoes sit on the shelf below. 

Yup, everything is ready. And everyone seems ready to say goodbye to summer.

Except, maybe, for me.
